Break the Fast with candidates in Saint John area

Our Saint John Regional Committee invites the population to share breakfast and discussions on pay equity legislation for the private sector with Election Candidates in Saint John & Surrounding Area.
The event will take place at the Centenary-Queen Square United (storefront) Church, 215 Wentworth Street, Saint John, at 8 a.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2010.
It will begin with a short, sharp presentation on pay equity & poverty by 3 committee members and will end with a discussion with the candidates.
A continental breakfast will be served at $5 for women... and $6.50 for men - to illustrate the wage gap.
The candidates who accepted the invitation to date are: Ed Doherty & Danny Joyce, from the Liberal Party; Colleen Fennell and Matt Doherty, from the New Democratic Party; and Margaret-Ann Blaney, from the Progressive Conservative Party.
