Let’s march for feminist economic policies.
March with us on International Women’s Day! Join the New Brunswick Coalition for Pay Equity and the Regroupement féministe du Nouveau-Brunswick (RFNB) on March 8 to rally for feminist economic policies in the province.
The provincial government promised to extend pay equity to the private sector and to raise social assistance rates—now’s the time to make it happen!
Date: Saturday, March 8, 2025
Schedule:
- 11:45 a.m.: Meet-up at Avenir Centre Plaza (150 Canada St, Moncton)
- 12 p.m.: Start of the march along Main St to Botsford St
- 12:40 p.m.: Speeches in front of Aberdeen Cultural Centre (140 Botsford St)
- 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Networking, warm beverages, and snacks on the 2nd floor of the Aberdeen Cultural Centre
Accessibility:
- March supervised by health and security volunteers
- Aberdeen Cultural Centre: access ramp, automatic push buttons, elevator, and gender-neutral washrooms
