How You Can Help
Now that we better understand pay equity, we are all compelled to act, right? Here is how you can help!
Become a member. Lifetime memberships are only $20! ($10 for students and self-identified low-income people.) Members receive monthly updates and invitations to events, can vote at our AGM and can run for election on our Board of Directors. Join here.
Volunteer. We always need helping hands—whether it’s holding an information table, participating in a march, organizing an activity, recruiting members or translating documents. Let us know how you would like to contribute!
Invite us. We would love to speak at your event, to your organization, or your classroom. Free of charge to you, of course. Contact us for more information.
Stay informed. Share information. Subscribe to our newsletter, follow us on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram at @equiteNBequity, and share our publications! Make sure to tag your MLA and use our hashtags: #nowNB, #PayEquityNB.
Spread the word. Order some of our posters and pamphlets and distribute or post them in your workplace lunch room, library, favorite café, university, etc...
Write to your newspaper. Did you know the opinion page is the second most widely read section of the newspaper? Make your voice heard in 250 words or less! You can send your letter to your local newspaper or you can send it to us.
Talk to your MLA. Let your MLA know you support pay equity and ask them if they support pay equity legislation for the private sector. You can talk to them informally when you see them in public, or arrange a meeting with them.
Support our work. Donations are vital to carry the message forward. With your help, we will keep fighting for the right to pay equity for all New Brunswickers. Contribute here.
Sign in your organization. The Coalition welcomes both individual and organizational members. Numbers matter. Speak to your organization about the Coalition and invite them to become a member. A lifetime membership is only $20—you can’t go wrong! Join here.
