Isabelle McKee Allain

A tenured professor of sociology who retired from the Université de Moncton after a 30-year career (including 15 years as Dean of Faculty), Isabelle McKee Allain is the author or co-author of some 50 publications, mainly on women, Acadian society, and the education system. She served her first term on the Coalition's Board as the South-East representative, followed by three consecutive terms as the Francophone Vice-President, and is now serving a second term as South-East representative. She has been involved in the fundraising committee and the organization's annual campaigns since 2013. As a volunteer, she is also involved with the Fondation Marichette, the Salon du livre de la Ville de Dieppe, and the Fondation du théâtre l'Escaouette. Isabelle was named a member of the Order of New Brunswick in November 2023.
