Isabelle McKee-Allain

A tenured professor of sociology who retired from the Université de Moncton after a 30-year career (including 15 years as Dean of Faculty), Isabelle McKee Allain is the author or co-author of some 50 publications, mainly on women, Acadian society, and the education system. She served her first term as Southeast representative on the Coalition's Board, followed by 3 consecutive terms as Francophone Vice-President. She has been involved in the fundraising committee and the organization's annual campaigns since 2013. As a volunteer, she is also involved with the Fondation Marichette, the Salon du livre de la Ville de Dieppe, and the Fondation du théâtre l'Escaouette. Isabelle was also the recipient of the Order of New Brunswick in November 2023.
