Sharon Crabb has a career in education as a classroom high school teacher, a District Education Office Supervisor and a high school principal. She has earned four university degrees: Bachelor of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, Masters of Education and PhD in Educational Leadership. After her retirement, her interest in supporting her community has continued through her work on Boards such as UNB Associated Alumnae and the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW-Fredericton) where she served in such positions as President, VP Advocacy, Status of Women Committee, President of Rotary Club of Fredericton, Charitable Trust Fellowship Committee member and was the lead researcher of “Sexual Assault Policies in Post-Secondary Institutions in Canada. Sharon is currently organizing a Long-Term Care Study Group with specific focus on such areas as salaries, working conditions and training and certification.
