Audrey Gagnon

Audrey Gagnon is a feminist activist and researcher who works for FrancoQueer in Research and Awareness. As part of her Master’s degree in literature, she is conducting her own interdisciplinary research on the poetry of women and gender minorities in Acadia, touching on the intersections of language, the body, and gendered violence and oppression; issues she hopes to dismantle in Acadia and everywhere else. Audrey has been involved professionally and as a volunteer in the community sector with feminist organizations for several years now, including by sitting on the Board of Directors of the Coalition since 2021, working at Regroupement féministe du Nouveau-Brunswick and the South East Sexual Assault Centre, and participating in the organizing committee of the Alliance des femmes de la francophonie canadienne, where she helped organize thhe first national forum on francophobia and masculinism which took place in Ottawa in September 2022.
