Audrey Gagnon is a language teacher by training, from Université de Moncton. She is now pursuing her master’s in literature with a focus on women’s and gender studies at McGill University. Feminist scholar, she is leading an interdisciplinary research on the poetry of women in Acadie, while joining the intersections of language, the body, and the gendered violence and oppression. She is also part of the framing committee of the Alliance des femmes de la Francophonie Canadienne (AFFC) which is contributing to a national forum to speak up against masculinism and francophobia – some issues she wishes to dismantle in Acadie.
