Debbie Grant has worked as a Human Service Councillor in Child protection, adult protection, attendant care, children and adults with disabilities, as well as individuals with chronic mental health conditions. Having worked in Woodstock region for 30 years, she is well acquainted with providing services in rural areas and the issues that come with that. She is the Vice President of the Association of Human Services Counselors of New Brunswick (AHSCNB) and participated in a Provincial Steering Committee that worked in conjunction with the office of Post-Secondary Education, Training, and Labour to accomplish the certification for Health and Safety Committees. She also participated in the Coalition’s pay equity job evaluation process for the community caregiving sector in 2020-2021.
