Janelle LeBlanc works in research at the Canadian Union of Public Employees and is a feminist social justice activist. Janelle holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Social Work, as well as a certificate in nonprofit management. It was her Social Work internship with the Coalition for Pay Equity that gave her a taste for community work, advocacy, mobilization, and inspiration to write her Master's thesis on the topic of pay equity in New Brunswick. Passionate about economic and social justice for all, Janelle has over 15 years of experience working and volunteering with feminist and community groups in Montreal, Vancouver, and New Brunswick. She recently served as the provincial coordinator of the New Brunswick Common Front for Social Justice.
