First Nations Representative

Jasmine Pirie is from the Wolastoqey Nation (Tobique First Nation). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of New Brunswick and has served as an elected member of Band Council since 2016, with nearly a decade of experience in Indigenous governance and community advocacy. Her leadership is informed by academic training, lived experience, and cultural knowledge, and reflects a strong commitment to Indigenous inclusion in governance, women’s leadership, and policies that support the social, cultural, and economic well-being of diverse communities.
