Renée Boudreau 
has been a Registered Nurse since 2006. She began her career in extended care and then worked for 10 years in maternity at Bathurst Hospital. In 2017, she moved to public health, where she worked mainly in immunization and family health promotion.  Most recently, she took on a new challenge as regional forensic nursing coordinator for the northern part of the province. She joined her local New Brunswick Nurses Union (NBNU) as vice-president in 2018 and took over as president 2020. In September 2022, she joined the board of the NBNU as the second vice-president. She has been an observer at the New Brunswick Coalition for Pay Equity, the Common Front Coalition for Social Justice, and the One Child One Seat Committee since September 2022. She also joined the Nurses Classification Evaluation Committee in August 2022, and joined the NB Federation of Labour's Women's Committee in June 2023.
