From the Saint John area, Tasha Salesse is a proud member of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), and is the founding member and Chair of the PSAC Saint John Regional Women’s Commission. Sitting on the employer’s Employment Equity, and Diversity, and Inclusion Committee as the Union Representative, Tasha plans employment equity activities for workers across the province and supports women and minority communities with employment issues. She also acts as the Vice-President for the New Brunswick Federation of Labour, where she is the Chair of the Women’s Committee and is responsible for supporting women’s issues. Tasha attends and participates in many meetings and events in the province to promote women’s rights. She is very passionate about pay equity, and as a federal employee, is knowledgeable about legislation and current political circumstances.
