Nathalie Chiasson

Nathalie Chiasson has been a lawyer in private practice since 1991 in the Acadian Peninsula. Having graduated from McGill University with a degree in Economics, Nathalie went on to obtain her Bachelor’s of Law at Université de Moncton in 1990. Opening her own law firm in 1999 in Shippagan, she practices mainly insurance law, medical negligence, estate, and corporate law. From 2001-2008, in Gloucester County, Nathalie presided over the administrative tribunal for the review of the Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security, as well as the Human Rights Commission in 2015-2020. She also represented Gloucester County by sitting on the Board of Directors of the New Brunswick Law Society in 2007-2010. Nathalie also participated on the Board of Directors of Dialogue New Brunswick, where she worked to help the Francophone and Anglophone communities to better understand eachother. Nathalie also has done some violence prevention work from 2007-2010, wanting to protect women and children from instances of abuse.
